We believe that local food security, sustainability and ethically sourced seeds are essential. With a strong belief in the need for better agroecological biodiversity, we never stock hybrid or GMO seeds. As a small seed-saving organisation, we are proud to offer many of the classic crops many growers already like as well as some rare and almost extinct varieties for a new generation of conscientious gardeners.

Our goal is to provide inspiration and education to gardeners by carrying only open-pollinated seeds, guaranteeing your ability to harvest and plant them year after year. All our vegetable, fruit and herb seeds are from ancient varieties, also known as heirlooms, meaning they have kept their original flavour profile and nutritional values. Buying from Ecoseedbank is not only fun, but it is also a sustainable choice.

We are proud to provide an alternative to the industrial food system while preserving seed diversity. We want to help communities control their own sustainable food system from seed to table. By having access to untreated heirloom seeds, you can take back the responsibility of growing your own food and eating in a way that is better for your family, friends, and community.
